Fae Friday is an awesome new weekly blog tag created by the lovely Kristy at Caffeinated Fae! With some help from some other amazing bloggers there is an awesome list of prompts to do every week. They are all really welcoming so if you have any ideas for prompts, feel free to reach out to Kristy on her blog or Twitter and please feel free to join in!
Here are the rules:
◦ Link back to this page on Caffeinated Fae
◦ If the prompt idea comes from another blog, link to that blog as well
◦ Use #FaeFriday when posting to social media so we can all find each other!
◦ Participate when you can and have fun with the prompt!
Faeries are notorious for causing a bit of confusion. So the prompt this week is:
I wasn't sure what book to do for this prompt at first and then as I looked at my bookshelves it hit me - Jonathon Strange & Mr Norell by Susanna Clarke. Jonathon Strange is one of those books that is absolutely fantastic but it will keep you like WTF most of the way throughout! It has magic, friends to enemies and so many twists - it's about 1000 pages but don't let that intimidate you, it's one hell of a read. It took me a while to get through but it was definitely worth it.
I found out about this book because I watched the BBC Series which was amazing! If you need a fantastic series to watch then I would definitely recommend it too! ❤️
Sorry I haven't got a picture this week! I was looking through my bookstagram photos and realised I haven't got any with this book 😭 I think I'm going to need to spend some time at some point in this lockdown taking some more photos 😂
What was a book that was so weird you didn't understand what just happened? I look forward to everybody's FaeFriday posts and feel free to join in! I'll see you next week with the next prompt! ☺️ In the mean time, you can find me on my Twitter and Instagram!
