Here are the rules:
◦ Link back to this page on Caffeinated Fae
◦ If the prompt idea comes from another blog, link to that blog as well
◦ Use #FaeFriday when posting to social media so we can all find each other!
◦ Participate when you can and have fun with the prompt!
Faeries have been known to create glamours that make the ordinary see a different reality, so the prompt this week is:
A book for me that was super realistic was The Secret History by Donna Tartt. Some bookstagram friends recommended it after I finished The Goldfinch and I am so glad that they did!
The Secret History is about a group of university students all studying greek. They are practically a clique, not really talking to the other students and taking all of their classes with the one eccentric teacher. Soon they get swept up in murder, betrayal and paranoia. I was sucked into the story and it did make me a little jumpy for a while 😂
What was a book that was so realistic it made you question reality? I look forward to everybody's FaeFriday posts and feel free to join in! I'll see you next week with the next prompt! ☺️ In the mean time, you can find me on my Twitter and Instagram!
