February Round Up!
I hope you all had a good February! This month kind of went really quickly but also really slow for me 😂 However, I finally managed to get some good reading done. I think February has been my most productive blogging month since I started. I remember back when I was a fairly new blogger and I thought doing 3 posts in one week was hectic - a couple of times this month I've had to do 3 months in one day!
Plus I also realised that I've now been a book blogger for 6 months this month! I have really enjoyed being a part of this community, I've met so many amazing people and had so many incredible opportunities! Thank you to you all for being so welcoming and friendly ❤️
Books I've Read
Surprisingly I managed to have a really good reading month and worked my way through 6 really good books!
Daughter of the Zel - Phoebe Ritter
The Dragon Lady - Louisa Treger
The Unspoken Name - A.K. Larkwood
This Too Shall Pass - Julia Samuel
iZombie: Dead to the World
Redhead in a Blue Convertible - Ivan Scott
Let me know if you've read any of these! ❤️
Love for Imperfect Things - Haemin Sunim (gifted from Penguin Life Books)
These Lost & Broken Things - Helen Fields (gifted from Love Books Tours for a book tour in May)
This Too Shall Pass - Julia Samuel (gifted from Penguin Life Books)
Raybearer - Jordan Ifueko (gifted from Hot Key Books YA)
The Library of the Unwritten - A.J. Hackwith
Girl of the Nevda - Phoebe Ritter
I have finally restrained myself from requesting loads of ARC's from NetGalley! 🙌😂 This month I was so lucky to be accepted to read and review The Unspoken Name by A.K. Larkwood which I managed to get up pretty quickly for once😂
My book tours all seemed to happen towards the end of the month this February - I definitely need to do a better job with my scheduling 😂 But I loved doing my reviews for Daughter of the Zel by Phoebe Ritter for Booktamins and This Too Shall Pass by Julia Samuel for Penguin Life Books.
A new thing for me this month was participating in Instagram tours! For some I just had to put up a picture for the book and I loved getting creative with these beautiful books. I did this for Love for Imperfect Things by Haemin Sumin for Penguin Life Books and for Hybrids Vol 1: Trouble by AUTHOR for Love Books Tours.
However I also did my first review on Instagram for The Dragon Lady by Louisa Treger. I really enjoyed doing my review on Instagram because it does reach a wider audience however you can't write as much as you can in a blog post and you all know how much I love to waffle on!
I was so lucky to be able to participate in some more cover reveals this month! I LOVE doing these! This month I helped Love Book Tours with their cover reveals for Zodiac, Living Candles and The Gossip's Choice!
I'm still participating and having fun with Fae Fridays! In case you haven't heard of Fae Fridays it is an awesome new weekly blog tag created by the lovely Kristy at Caffeinated Fae! Every week offers a new fun prompt and we all find each other on social media using the hashtag #FaeFriday so feel free to join in! You won't regret it ☺️
This has been an amazing and fun month and I'm looking forward to seeing what March has to bring! Let me know how Feb was for you and what you have planned for March down in the comments or come find me on my Twitter and Instagram!
See you next month!
