Would You Rather Bookish Edition Tag

Thank you so much to the lovely Leah at Leah's Books for the tag! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get round to it! See Leah's answers here and make sure to check out her awesome blog! ❤️

Would you rather have to read the last chapter of every new book first, or never read the last chapter?

I would have to read the last chapter of every new book first. I think I could handle that better than never being able to finish the book 😂 Plus it helps that my memory is rubbish anyway so by the time I get to the middle of the book I probably wouldn't remember what I read from the last chapter 😂

Would you rather have someone ruin the ending of a book for you or never finish a book you were reading?

Although I would hate it I would rather someone ruin the ending of the book! I couldn't handle not being able to finish a book I was reading especially if it was really good!

Would you rather lose your place or get a paper cut every time you read a book?

I would rather lose my place! Better to reread a chapter than have to deal with horrid paper cuts.

Would you rather be friends with Hermione Granger or Matilda?

I'm a huge potter-nerd so it would have to be Hermione Granger for me! Reading and magic? Perfection!

Would you rather wait five years for the final installment in a series or get it now, but must read every spoiler before you can start reading it?

I'd like to think that I could handle waiting five years for a final instalment 😂 Reading ever spoiler (whilst not the worst thing in the world) would take a lot of fun and suspense out of the book. So yeah, 5 years no problem. (Currently praying that this will never happen please 😂)

Would you rather reread your least favorite book monthly or never be able to read your favorite book again?

Although I love rereading my favourite books I would happily never reread my favourite over having to reread a least favourite! My least favourites put me into a reading slump the first time round so I definitely don't want that to happen every month!

Would you rather read in an isolated cabin that was infested with spiders or in a noisy coffee shop with bad music?

Noisy coffee shop with bad music all the way. I mean I like most types of music anyway so I don't mind "bad music". But spiders are a definite NOPE from me!

I'm so arachnophobic that I once jumped out of a MOVING CAR because I saw a spider! True story 😂 To be fair my sister was going slowly because she was about to park but I jumped out of there and nearly got my foot ran over because I preferred that to having to be in the same space as a spider. Honestly, if I see one in my room I won't sleep for a minimum of two nights, it's ridiculous 🙈

Would you rather have the ability to read minds, but never be able to read another book or live as you are now and keep reading?

Live as I am now and carry on reading! I love books and could never imagine giving them up. I mean reading minds is cool but in reality I would hate to hear what people are truly thinking - especially about me!

Would you rather read a novel based on a true story of someone you know or a fictional novel where a character is based on you?

Fictional character where the character is based on me!! I have DREAMED of this! I mean how cool would that be?! 😍

Would you rather have a book where anything you write in it becomes true or have a book that contains all the knowledge in the universe?

Ooh this is a hard one! I mean imagine the power you could have if anything you wrote became true. Would I use it for good or for evil? Who knows but it'll be fun 😂

But to have all of the knowledge in the universe - to be able to answer any question would be phenomenal but would I really want to know? Life is about mystery, about the unknowing.

Wow I'm feeling philosophical today 😂

I think I would go for having anything I write become true because I could write that I have a pizza and then magically get pizza! Perfect 😂

Would you rather read a great book FULL of typos or a terrible book?

I would rather read a terrible book 😂 Typos always take me out of a story and the proofreader side of me takes over and I can't really enjoy the story. At least with a terrible book I'm sure I'd be able to find some elements of it I enjoy.

On that note, proofreader requests on my blog are currently open! 😉
